Synopsis
CERTAINTY is about a black man who undergoes a Virtual Reality experience through a white man. The film deals with the idea of "hidden racism" along with the philosophical idea of solipsism.

Editorial Note
CERTAINTY was, in 2018, FITV's most ambition production as it was the first time its members worked together to produce their first ever amateur-based short film. Filmed over the span of 8 months, with a Canon 7D and numerous re-shoots, the cast & crew were able to produce not only a moving and compelling story, but also an important and contemporary narrative that drew inspiration from the BLM movement in mid-2017 (while alluding to foreshadowing in the events surrounding the George Floyd BLM response in mid-2020.)
CERTAINTY was premiered at the Florida Institute of Technology in April 20, 2018, and went on to be showcased in an independent film festival, based in Los Angeles, at the TCL Chinese Theaters, where numerous celebrities such as Michael Grillo (Producer for Marvel's The Avengers) would see the short film during CERATINTY's promotional-run in LA. CERTAINTY not only proved to be a success, but it also granted priceless experience to the FITV members who would go on to paved the way in producing quality film and video content for the years to come.
